Dolphins (Mahi Mahi) are excellent eating fish — and are fun to catch. They love to show off their acrobatic skills as they jump out of the water. Able to swim at 50 miles per hour, they feed on other fast swimmers, including flying fish and squid.

  • Habitat: Mahi Mahi are pelagic fish, preferring warm waters deeper than 80 ft. They usually run in schools and are easy to spot due to their striking coloration.
